Originally released in 2006, Meds is the critically acclaimed fifth studio album from British alternative rock icons Placebo, fronted by the unmistakable Brian Molko.
Blending dark alternative rock, distorted guitars, haunting melodies and emotionally charged vocals, Meds sees the band return to a rawer, more guitar-driven sound following their previous album, Sleeping with Ghosts.
Featuring standout tracks such as "Meds", "Infra-Red", "Song to Say Goodbye" and "Follow the Cops Back Home", the album delivers a powerful mix of driving rock anthems, atmospheric ballads and deeply personal songwriting.
With guest appearances from Alison Mosshart of The Kills and Michael Stipe of R.E.M., Meds explores themes of addiction, relationships, isolation and emotional vulnerability.
An essential addition to any alternative rock or 2000s indie vinyl collection. Perfect for fans of Muse, The Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol and Radiohead.
