Originally released in 1991, Nevermind is the groundbreaking second studio album from Seattle grunge legends Nirvana.
Blending distorted guitar riffs, raw punk rock energy, unforgettable melodies and Kurt Cobain's distinctive vocals, Nevermind became one of the most influential alternative rock albums of all time, helping bring grunge music into the mainstream.
Featuring iconic tracks such as "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Come as You Are", "Lithium", "In Bloom" and "Something in the Way", the album delivers a powerful combination of explosive rock anthems, haunting melodies and emotionally charged songwriting.
Produced by Butch Vig, Nevermind captures Nirvana's classic lineup of Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl. Its signature mix of heavy guitar distortion, quiet-loud dynamics and infectious hooks helped redefine the sound of rock music in the early 1990s.
With its instantly recognisable underwater baby artwork, groundbreaking singles and rebellious spirit, Nevermindbecame a cultural phenomenon, introducing a generation of listeners to the Seattle alternative rock scene.
More than three decades later, the album remains an essential part of music history and a defining release of the 1990s.
