Originally released in 1989, Bleach is the raw and powerful debut studio album from Seattle grunge legends Nirvana.
Blending heavy, distorted guitar riffs, gritty basslines, pounding drums and Kurt Cobain's unmistakable vocals, Bleachcaptures the band's early sound before their worldwide breakthrough with Nevermind.
Featuring standout tracks such as "About a Girl", "Blew", "Negative Creep", "School" and "Love Buzz", the album delivers an explosive combination of punk rock aggression, sludge metal heaviness and the melodic songwriting that would later make Nirvana one of the most influential bands of the 1990s.
Produced by Jack Endino and recorded at Seattle's legendary Reciprocal Recording studio, Bleach was created on a modest budget and originally released through independent label Sub Pop Records.
With its dark atmosphere, abrasive guitar tones and stripped-back production, the album reflects the underground Seattle music scene that helped give rise to the grunge movement.
The Remastered Vinyl LP edition brings renewed clarity to Nirvana's groundbreaking debut while preserving the raw energy and intensity of the original recordings.
An essential addition to any grunge, alternative rock or 1990s vinyl collection. Perfect for fans of Mudhoney, Melvins, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Dinosaur Jr.
