Originally released in 1984, Ride the Lightning is the groundbreaking second studio album from American thrash metal legends Metallica.
Blending lightning-fast guitar riffs, thunderous drums, aggressive vocals and intricate arrangements, Ride the Lightninghelped redefine the sound of heavy metal and establish Metallica as one of the most influential bands of the 1980s.
Featuring iconic tracks such as "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "Fade to Black", "Creeping Death", "Fight Fire with Fire" and the title track, the album delivers a powerful mix of relentless thrash metal, atmospheric melodies and unforgettable guitar solos.
