Originally released in 1986, Master of Puppets is the legendary third studio album from American heavy metal icons Metallica.
Blending lightning-fast guitar riffs, crushing rhythms, intricate solos and powerful vocals, Master of Puppets is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential thrash metal albums of all time.
Featuring iconic tracks such as "Battery", "Master of Puppets", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)", "Disposable Heroes" and "Orion", the album delivers an unforgettable combination of aggressive heavy metal, complex arrangements and atmospheric instrumental passages.
Produced by Metallica and Flemming Rasmussen, the record explores themes of control, addiction, manipulation, war and power, showcasing the band's increasingly sophisticated songwriting and musicianship.
Featuring James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and bassist Cliff Burton, Master of Puppets was the final Metallica studio album recorded with Burton before his tragic death in 1986.
This 180g Remastered Vinyl LP edition brings the album's thunderous sound to heavyweight vinyl, making it an essential addition to any classic heavy metal or thrash metal collection.
