Released in 2024, Morning View XXIII is a fresh reimagining of the iconic 2001 album Morning View from American alternative rock favourites Incubus.
More than two decades after the original release, Incubus returned to the songs that helped define their career, re-recording the entire album with a renewed perspective, refined musicianship and fresh creative energy.
Featuring fan favourites such as "Wish You Were Here", "Nice to Know You", "Are You In?", "Warning" and "Aqueous Transmission", Morning View XXIII delivers a new interpretation of the band's signature blend of alternative rock, atmospheric melodies, funk-inspired grooves and emotionally charged songwriting.
Recorded with bassist Nicole Row, the album captures Incubus revisiting these beloved tracks after more than 20 years of performing them live. The result preserves the spirit of the original recordings while introducing subtle changes in arrangements, textures and performances.
Rather than a traditional remaster, Morning View XXIII is a complete re-recording, offering longtime fans a new way to experience one of the most celebrated alternative rock albums of the early 2000s.
Presented on Double Vinyl LP, this release is an essential addition to any alternative rock, indie rock or early-2000s vinyl collection.
