Released in 2026, Looking for People to Unfollow is the highly anticipated second studio album from Australian alternative punk artist Ecca Vandal.
Blending explosive punk rock, alternative rock, hip-hop influences and experimental electronic sounds, Looking for People to Unfollow delivers a fearless mix of heavy guitar riffs, infectious rhythms, powerful vocals and genre-defying songwriting.
Featuring standout tracks such as "Molly", "Sorry! Crash!", "Vertical Worlds", "Eyes Shut" and "Do It Anyway", the album moves effortlessly between aggressive punk anthems, atmospheric melodies and experimental soundscapes.
Written and recorded alongside longtime collaborator Richie Buxton in a small home studio in Melbourne, the album explores themes of identity, independence, creative freedom and disconnecting from the pressures of modern digital culture.
Raw, energetic and unapologetically original, Looking for People to Unfollow showcases Ecca Vandal's ability to push musical boundaries while staying true to her punk roots.
An essential addition to any modern punk, alternative rock or Australian independent music vinyl collection. Perfect for fans of Amyl & The Sniffers, IDLES, M.I.A., Rage Against the Machine and Turnstile.
