Released in 2026, Easing Out of Control is the seventh studio album from Australian alternative rock trio DZ Deathrays.
Blending explosive guitar riffs, pounding drums, electronic textures and infectious melodies, Easing Out of Controldelivers the band's signature high-energy sound while exploring a more melodic and experimental direction.
Featuring standout tracks such as "Sideways", "Real Love", "Like No Other", "First Night Fever" and "Pissing in the Breeze", the album moves between blistering garage rock anthems, dance-punk rhythms and more atmospheric, introspective moments.
Originally conceived as two separate EPs, the project evolved into a dynamic full-length album recorded across multiple sessions and completed in the band's home studios. The record also features a guest appearance from Violent Soho bassist Luke Henery.
Following their 2023 album R.I.F.F., DZ Deathrays continue to push their sound forward, balancing the raw intensity of their early releases with more adventurous songwriting and production.
An essential addition to any Australian alternative rock, garage rock or dance-punk vinyl collection. Perfect for fans of Death From Above 1979, Violent Soho, Royal Blood, The Hives and Dune Rats.
