Originally released in 2008, Intimacy is the bold and experimental third studio album from British indie rock favourites Bloc Party.
Moving beyond the guitar-driven sound of their earlier records, Intimacy combines energetic indie rock with electronic beats, distorted guitars and influences from dance music, drum and bass and hip-hop.
Featuring standout tracks such as "Mercury", "Talons", "One Month Off" and "Signs", the album explores themes of heartbreak, relationships and emotional vulnerability, with frontman Kele Okereke delivering some of his most personal songwriting.
Reissued in 2024 on stunning crystal clear vinyl, Intimacy is an essential addition to any 2000s indie rock collection. A must-have for fans of the indie sleaze era and Bloc Party's adventurous, genre-blending sound.
