Originally released in 2021, Comfort to Me is the explosive second studio album from Melbourne punk rock outfit Amyl and the Sniffers.
Packed with raw energy, blistering guitar riffs, pounding drums and Amy Taylor's unmistakable vocals, Comfort to Medelivers a fierce combination of punk rock, garage rock and classic Australian pub rock.
Featuring standout tracks such as "Guided by Angels", "Hertz", "Security", "Some Mutts (Can't Be Muzzled)"'s successor-era favourite "Choices", and "Don't Fence Me In", the album captures the band's rebellious spirit while introducing sharper songwriting and a bigger, more powerful sound.
Recorded during Melbourne's COVID-19 lockdowns, Comfort to Me explores themes of frustration, freedom, identity and everyday life, balancing confrontational punk anthems with moments of vulnerability and humour.
Loud, fast and unapologetically Australian, this album cemented Amyl & The Sniffers as one of the most exciting contemporary punk bands.
An essential addition to any Australian punk, garage rock or alternative vinyl collection. Perfect for fans of The Chats, Cosmic Psychos, The Stooges and IDLES.
